Pengembang Kurikulum K12 – Deskripsi Kerja dan Informasi Gaji

Apakah Anda mencintai pendidikan dan anak-anak, tetapi Anda tidak ingin mengajar selama lima hari seminggu? Sebaiknya Anda mempertimbangkan untuk menjadi pengembang kurikulum. Profesi ini juga dikenal dengan berbagai istilah lain, diantaranya “koordinator pembelajaran”, “ahli kurikulum”, dan “desainer pembelajaran”.

Seorang pengembang kurikulum bekerja dibalik layar dalam perannya untuk menjamin materi pada masing-masing bidang studi yang disampaikan dapat diajarkan dengan baik. Materi yang diajarkan diharapkan dapat disampaikan dengan cara yang tepat dan juga efektif dalam mengembangkan pola fikir peserta didik, bukan dengan metode standar yang selama ini diterapkan. Seluruh tingkatan pendidikan memanfaatkan jasa seorang pengembang kurikulum, meskipun tanggung jawab dari masing-masing pengembang kurikulum pada tiap tingkat berbeda-beda, bergantung pada sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing sekolah. Orang-orang yang tertarik pada bidang ini harus nyaman bekerja dengan para pengelola, anak-anak, dan juga mampu merancang rencana pelajaran dengan kerangka tertentu.

Lingkungan Kerja dan Tugas

Menurut US Bureau of Labor Statistics, pada tahun 2010 terdapat lebih dari 139,000 pekerjaan sebagai koordinator pembelajaran, dengan 38 dari mereka bekerja di sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah negeri maupun swasta.

Seorang pengembang kurikulum K12 dapat bekerja dengan satu atau beberapa sekolah negeri maupun swasta yang seluruh materi pengajarannya efektif dan sesuai dengan standar pendidikan negeri. Karena diperlukan perizinan dan latar belakang pendidikan, kebanyakan pengembang kurikulum bekerja pada jenjang pendidikan dasar atau menengah. Seorang pengembang kurikulum K12 yang bekerja pada kedua jenjang pendidikan yaitu dasar dan menengah sekaligus, biasanya bekerja pada sekolah swasta yang sangat kecil.

Sebagai seorang pengembang kurikulum, Anda akan menghabiskan waktu dengan melakukan rapat bersama para pengelola dan sesekali dengan pengajar untuk membahas metode pembelajaran baru di dalam kelas. Untuk mengakomodasi kesediaan para guru, banyak para pengembang kurikulum yang mengatur jadwal rapat pada waktu sebelum dan sesudah jam sekolah berlangsung. Pada beberapa kasus, Anda juga mungkin akan diminta bertanggung jawab dalam melakukan pemilihan buku pelajaran tertentu berdasarkan kurikulum yang Anda rancang.

Meningkatkan standar nilai ujian merupakan tujuan akhir dari kebanyakan pengembang kurikulum yang bekerja di sekolah negeri, meskipun beberapa dari mereka juga mengkhususukan diri di bidang lain, termasuk pendidikan luar biasa, dan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua. Dalam usaha meningkatkan meningkatkan nilai, pengembang kurikulum seringkali memberikan penjelasan kepada para guru mengenai berbagai standar baru yang ditetapkan. Pengembang kurikulum juga membantu mereka menggunakan teknologi yang tepat guna selama mereka membuat RPP.

Jam kerja pengembang kurikulum relatif lebih fleksibel dibandingkan jam kerja yang sehari-hari biasa dijalani oleh para guru.

Syarat & Pendidikan

Gelar sarjana merupakan keharusan dalam bekerja di hampir semua bidang yang berkaitan dengan administrasi pendidikan. Terlepas dari spectrum K12 mana Anda bekerja, hampir semua pengembang kurikulum menyandang gelar master. Hal ini terutama berlaku untuk pengembang kurikulum sekolah menengah dan tinggi, yang seringkali mengkhususkan pada area bidang studi yang paling dekat dengan mereka, seperti matematika atau bahasa Inggris. Banyak universitas menawarkan gelar lanjutan atau sertifikat dalam pengembangan kurikulum atau desain kurikulum melalui program Magister Pendidikan (M.Pd)

Kebanyakan sekolah negeri biasanya juga membutuhkan pengembang kurikulum untuk lulus ujian sertifikasi guru Negara. Beberapa daerah juga mengharuskan Anda untuk memiliki sertifikat administrasi pendidikan. Mandat tambahan dapat bervariasi pada masing-masing sekolah, dapat berupa minimal pengalaman pengajar selama 18 bulan atau sertifikat khusus yang menyatakan keahlian Anda pada bidang tertentu.

Gaji dan jenjang karir

Pada tahun 2010, rata-rata gaji seorang koordinator pembelajaran adalah lebih dari USD 58,830. Mereka yang bekerja pada sekolah dasar dan menengah negeri maupun swasta memperoleh rata-rata USD 65,210. 10% tertinggi dari Kelompok ini memperoleh lebih dari USD 93,080 dan 10 % Kelompok terendah memperoleh kurang dari USD 33,490.

Tingkat pertumbuhan pekerjaan sebagai koordinator pembelajaran ini diperkirakan akan meningkat sebesar 20 % antara tahun 2010 dan 2020. Sejumlah faktor untuk peningkatan di bawah rata-rata ini juga akan diikuti dengan penekanan peningkatan akuntabilitas sekolah dan efektifitas pembelajaran. Resiko kehilangan pendanaan oleh Negara membuat sekolah negeri lebih berkomitmen untuk memaksimalkan materi ajar yang disampaikan dan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pada beberapa tahun terakhir.

Dapat Anda jadikan catatan bahwa kesempatan bekerja untuk pengembang kurikulum pada suatu daerah bergantung pada pendanaan di daerah tersebut. Untuk menghemat uang, seringkali suatu daerah yang sudah memiliki seorang pengembang kurikulum biasanya akan menugaskan pengembang kurikulum itu pada beberapa sekolah yang terdapat di wilayah tersebut

How to Speak English Fluently?

Here is the rule number 1 from AJ Hoge :

1. Learn English Phrases, not individual words.

Always learn phrases, not individual words. Phrase is a group of words. it's a part of sentence. For example : Prefer to write "John hates Ice cream" than just "hate"

Every time you heard new words, write it down. But it'll be better if you wrote the whole phrase or sentence than just write the single word.

What is the power of phrase?

- Phrase gives you a lot of information much more than just single word

- Phrase has a meaning and gives a power to make you easier to remember the whole story when you pick it from story book or something that you have listen.

- When you learnt phrases, you were learning grammar also. Remember word by word is slow and doesn't help you.

When you want to review the new word you have just heard. NEVER review only the words, but review the whole phrase or sentence.

By this way, automatically your grammar will improve better

Take one special note book to write all of new phrase you've just heard!

It’s about a brief journey with you~

Suddenly I’m missing that romantic situation…

The cold weather of Malang City, also the beautiful scenery made the atmosphere become more romantic. It covered our time which is less than 24 hours

Shortly, but it still gave an unforgettable memory in my heart

The rain’s crystal which is very heavy seems like a complement for our romantic situation.

It was puncturing my face which was going to be pale, moreover it almost frostbitten

Yet we still covered it with full of laugh

We sang together in happiness, even sometimes we forgot the correct lyrics

Again, we kept laugh together

We tried to kill the cold which is started to hurt our body

The heavy rain was still dropping during the voyage from Malang until Kediri. We arrived at night on Kediri at that time.

My body was starting to feel fatigue

Something yelled deeply in my stomach

Yap, the cold made me felt starving

We enjoyed our most delicious dinner i’ve ever had during I stayed in this small city which have given me so many stories about you

I saw your lips going to whitish

Certainly you felt so cold more than what i felt

Along our journey, I was hidden behind your body

I also placed my fingers inside your jacket pocket…

It’s a short story which will be hard to forget

Nay I still remember the stories’ detail

Your flavor can always calm me

And of course your warm arms…

I enjoyed our romantic time at that day

Kampung Inggris - Pare, Kediri (Recommended Restaurant)

There is no word to describe this village. It's a very lovable awesome village i've ever visited :)

In this Posting, i want to share about food which you can eat there.
There are some cafe/restaurants where you can spoil your stomach :)

I recommend these for you ...

1. Bali House
    It is located in Dahlia street. Bali house not only a restaurant but also a boarding house which full of facilities that can satisfy the occupant who visited or maybe stayed in there. You can surfing until you tired since wi-fi's signal here is very strong :). It is a very recommended restaurant, since the atmosphere there was very comfortable and especially for me, it gives me a lot of memories which i'll never forget :)

2. Sribu Asri

    It is located quite far from Pare. I forgot the exactly street, but from garuda statue, you can go left and there will be a gas station in the right way, and the alley to go to Sribu asri is not far from that gas station. In this restaurant, you can fishing first before you roast your fish into special menu, "honey roasted fish"

3. Klasik Cafe

    It is located before The Daffodils. You can go there through Dahlia Street. There is an alley beside "Access" and just go straight and you'll find this Cafe. Basically, the place is as comfort as the others. But in my opinion, The menu here haven't enough variation. Yet it still recommended place to visit :)

and we enjoyed our dinner :)

4. Mushroom Cafe

    It is located in BP Sudirman street, in front of Apollo store. This restaurant offers a lot of kind of food which is made from mushroom. There are so many menu here, but i only taking one picture. Basically, it is very recommended restaurant to visit since the place is clean and healthy and the taste of their menu is also delicious :)

5. Ketan Daffodils

     As the name, it is located not far from The Daffodils. fyi, the Daffodils is one of courses which is located in the middle of rice field. The view was very awesome. And the price for one portion of the "ketan" is only Rp. 1.500. Very cheap but still delicious. My favourite menu is milk ketan :)

Those are some of recommended restaurant in Pare, Kediri, East Java. There are so many other places to visit in there. Never worry you won't find a place to eat there. So, if you want to know more, you better go there by your self! :)

Loving two people at the same time?

Impossible.

Yap, i think it's impossible thing to do. How handsome or beautiful you are, you shouldn't change your beauty into something bad with your bad attitude. Loving two people at the same time is such a bad thing. If there are two people love you at the same time, it doesn't mean you can love both of them also in the same time. You have to choose one of them, and let the other leaving you so that he/she can live his/her own life.

Everyone has their own right to be happy in this world.

And please, enjoy your own happiness without disturbing another's happiness.

I'm not love you like i did yesterday.
So, please stop disturb my life, and enjoy yours.

Don't be selfish by wanna have both of us. Choose one, and forget the other.

New Year Celebration in Kediri

Where did you spend your new year's night??

I spent it in Kediri, East Java.
with my boarding house mate :)

"Gumul" is a building which is located in the middle of five junction. it becomes one of tourism place to be visited in Kediri. The architecture of this building is very awesome. it seems like in overseas :)

For your information, i never celebrate new year's night before. When i was in Jakarta, i usually spent new year's night by stay at home, make a little roasted party in my home yard with all of my lovely family.

But i felt something different in the beginning of 2012.

I think Allah made something special for me to begin this year, with full of happiness. I hope it will reflect my life during 2012. it means, my life will be as happy as the beginning of this year. Aamiin :)

Remember, keep positive thinking with Allah will never let you feel in vain since Allah is Most Gracious, Most Merciful :)

We enjoyed the fireworks until a half to one, then we decided to go home.

But, unfortunately. We couldn't go back since the street was full of people ...

Finally, we waited until the street a little bit quite. while waited, we enjoyed our time by having dinner (exactly : midnight meal)

I do love my new year's night there and all of the memories which i will never forget.

I hope someday, i can go back there, soon :)

I believe, there will be a very long step which i have to pass, then it means i have to try to be better and better day by day ...

In my religion, I believe in a good will can affect our way of life.

A good will comes from our deeply heart, and it will reflect our attitude in our daily activity.

For me, life is about changing everyday.

If day was always passed, and we have nothing to change. it means our life is in vain.

these are only little parts of my change. Most of them are hidden inside my deeply heart. Only Allah, My lovely Family and I know about it :)

Write Your Dreams!

I have just remembered about this statement from one of my friends.

He said "Write your dreams" for his last statement about his opinion about me.

And I do, I wanna start to wrote them.

Of course in my personal note, not here :D

Dream is something which is on our mind,
if we aren't write them, you'll probably forget them.

New year's atmosphere is still felt here, especially in my own self.
You can write all of your dreams.. as many as you want.

That's not an useless thing to do since after you wrote them, you'll always be reminded which dream you have already reached and which the others that maybe haven't reached yet.

Let you yourself do everything which you want to achieve.
write everything you want to get this year
and let your note always reminds you every time you forgot it.

Do it now!
Take your note, think about your plan for this year
change any bad condition which happened on your past
try to learn much from them
and plan for your brighter future

50 days of Love

We never know when it was started. But today, the fact said that we have to say good bye ...

Sometimes, life is really unpredictable.
I never ask God to meet you in my life
but you came with a bunch of happiness.

Time was passed, we never realize what were we doing during 50 days here
we just enjoyed our daily activity together with smile and happiness every time

I though God has a better plan for us
that's why we have to be separated as now

I believe it will happen permanently

I'll meet you again in the different place, but in the right time
on that time when you and I will have been ready for God's scenario

Persistence

What makes you special?
You're just an ordinary human. You have neither miracle nor magic.

Reddish Island

The reddish light was shining me directly below my head. I’m almost blinded by that glare. Suddenly a shadow came closer to me. I kept standing there, waiting for that shadow show its shape.

Surprisingly, that shadow was you. Your face was still hidden behind your long flowing red robe, but I could identify you easily.

“Where have you been? I’m almost burned down waiting here for you…” My tears were endured.

I tried looking for your face behind that robe.

You kept quiet. You bowed deeper than before. That made me harder to find your eyes. I could not find it whereas I’m trying harder to do that.

I couldn’t restrain my tears dropping on my cheek.

This sob were heard, it is touching your heart exactly.

Finally, you opened your robe. Reddish light was shone around you. It made me impressed.

You put your palm on my cheek, you wipe my tears.

“Stop crying, sweetheart. I went for a long time to find something special for you” your voice calm me down.

I was trying to stop crying. I wanted to see what you’ve brought to me.

You showed something on your hand.

There was a crystal red heart lied on your palm. It was shining the reddish light.

I love red. That’s why I love staying in here even it means I have to wait you for so long time.

This island taught me a lot of valuable things. Waiting for such a long time won’t always ended up with sad story.

There was a smile depicted on your face. Sincere smile which could make me feels like flying to the moon.

There were so much reddish light here. The sun was starting to go down/ it also reflected reddish light. It increased this romantic situation.

Here, there were only you and me standing face to face. Your tender hand held me lovingly.

Let me stayed in this way. I didn’t wanna feel loss anymore.

I begged you not to ever go again. We have found what we were looking for very long time. So, there was no excuse for you to go away from me once more.

Right now, in our hand we are holding this reddish heart. Day by day, I promise to keep this heart patiently in order that this heart will grow bigger than before.

“This heart was mine, but furthermore I want it to be ours…” your last statement affirmed my conviction.

You held my hand tighter, it made me feel more peaceful.

“Thank you for your beautiful gift. I’ll keep it with my whole heart…”

That was the end of that day. The glow around us was getting darker. But the light from this reddish heart won’t ever stop shining.

It reflected our love that will never stop loving each other, until the end of time …

Lovable Mushroom in a Lovable Village

What date is today?? hihi..
i'm so excited to post this :)

Finally, after a very very long journey.. I found a better place to spoil my stomach :D

I found Mushroom Cafe! Yeah.. it is located in front of Apollo Store (sorry, i forgot the name of that street)
But exactly, everyone in Pare know where the Apollo Store is located.

Mushroom is one of my favorite foods :)
Yeah, and it become a heaven when i found a Restaurant which have full menu about Mushroom :)
I have been staying in here for about one month, and this is for the first time i have lunch in 'Restaurant' :p

Love Writing (?)

I am writing a letter to you right now.

I always write it every Sunday morning after we have separated since 3 months ago.

You went to Dutch after you had gotten scholarship on there.

I am going to send this letter to the post office tomorrow.

I always go to the post office by bicycle when I have already written the letter.

Last week, I met your parents in the post office.

Your parents and I are going to pick you up in the airport next month.

Well, those are some sentences which i did for my final exam in Grammar one

hihi, actually that was very simple story to tell, but i'm proud of my own self

Taking grammar program is a very bored thing to do, but i try to enjoy it day by day...

At least, i can write (even) a simple story with correct grammar :D

As you know, i am a girl who really loves writing so much

And by now, i want to improve my skill to write in English version

Of course just simple story as i wrote in the opening of this post :)

I also want to write poems in English actually, but i'm not be able to do that. (I meant, not yet) Someday, i believe if i have strong will, i can achieve that hope :)

Yeah, that's one of my hopes, not just wishes :)
